And...I must say I think I am enjoying it more than they are. It's not everyday you get to practice blowing bubbles in the water :)

Swim Lessons
The girls had their first ever swim lesson today. I am with Emma during her swim lesson and Ruth and Naomi have their swim lesson with the instructor.
And...I must say I think I am enjoying it more than they are. It's not everyday you get to practice blowing bubbles in the water :)

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies
My Aunt made these cookies at Christmas and I thought they were pretty yumm-o! We made them tonight and I thought I would share this super easy, yummy cookie.
What you will need:
1 roll of peanut butter dough
12 mini reeses cups (minus the paper)
3 eager helpers (totally optional, but it makes it so much more fun)
Spray the muffin cups with cooking spray. Divide the dough evenly among all the muffin cups. Spread it out evenly in each cup. Put in the oven at 350. And wait.
While you are waiting, you can take the papers off the reese cups. Or you can sit on the table and color, whatever suits your fancy.
As soon as you take them out of the oven, put the reese cups in so they will be all melty.
Enjoy!

Snow
Last Saturday, we woke up to several inches of snow and although snow is not my favorite thing in the world, it did provide the perfect backdrop for our Christmas card pictures.
This picture of Brad and I is, of course not our Christmas card picture
Surprisingly, neither is this one

And one of the things that drives me crazy about going out into the snow???
...all this!

Pilgrim Hats
How cute are these little hats?! I saw them here and just had to make them.
Really simple, fun, and just way too cute!

It's here!
I finally chose a picture to go on the canvas I won and it got here so fast! I am so thankful to We Picture This.com for choosing me. This canvas came from All Pop Art.com and I must say that the process was so fast. If you are looking for a place to order canvas photos, I recommend them. The colors are true to what the actual picture is and like I said I got my print very quickly.
I think I'm hooked on canvas photos.

Apple Pickin'
Today, we went apple picking. It was another beautiful day in our neck of the woods...perfect weather for being outside and picking apples. The girls really enjoyed it. And me, too...although I didn't do as much apple picking as I did picture taking.
We had to walk a country mile to get to and from the apple trees. The way there...not too bad. The way back toting bags of apples and dealing with a not so happy little girl by the name of Ruth whose biggest complaint was that her legs were too heavy and she was sooo slow...bad. Lord help us all. We survived the walk, had lunch and watched the boys and girls play hide and go seek behind apple trees. Fun stuff!
Yesterday, pumpkin picking. Today, apple picking. Tomorrow, sleeping in...hopefully.
We're all tuckered picked out.

Pumpkin Patch
Today was a beautiful pumpkin picking day, so I loaded up the car with the little girlies and we went with some friends to a nearby pick your own pumpkin patch. There was so much excitement and lots of indecision in picking their perfect pumpkin.
And, of course, with little girls there comes a little drama...such as screaming at the top of one's lungs when being attacked by a ferocious pumpkin vine, or a killer ant, or venomous snails.
Overall, a very fun, beautiful fall day!
