This little girl can take some killer pictures...when she wants to.

And, sometimes...she really doesn't want to.

Uncles are great...especially when they arrange to have
Sleeping Beauty give you a phone call!

I cheated. :) I took no pictures today so I pulled out one I had not shared before...that sort of counts, right?

This pictures warms my heart and makes me smile. Naomi with my Granddaddy, her Great Granddaddy, on Christmas morning.

Yes, I with the other millions of people in the world have made it one
of my goals this year to lose weight.
I have motivation, too: a wedding in October!

*weight was not displayed to protect the innocent (that would be me!)

I love new beginnings, and especially a new year. I like to set goals for that year and challenge myself to accomplish them. One of my goals for 2011? Drink more water! Gonna be a toughie...I LOVE me some Dr. Pepper!

1/365...I have returned!

Helloooo? Anyone there?

So, I realize that it has been almost a year since I have posted last...yikes! After MUCH encouragement and arm twisting from my best pal, Sarah, I have returned to blog land. And, not only have I returned, I am coming back with a vengeance and doing the 365 project. So, my friends (all one of you) that still read this sadly neglected blog, here is day one...

Ruth is not a very cooperative little girl when it comes to taking pictures, so when she decides she wants pictures taken, I seize the moment...even if it's on the porch of Cracker Barrel.
